Welcome to vECM – the Virtual Elite Community Meet
With the Cambridge event postponed due to the Covid-19 outbreak (details at: https://elitecommunitymeet.info/ecm-2020-postponement/) we’ve moved to a NEW venue – yes, we’ve gone digital and we’re still putting the event on – via the Internet.
vECM is bringing you all the activities we would normally have for you in person, just online. The good news is that as we no longer have a limit on numbers, we’re open to the entire Elite Community (and friends) and what’s more, the event is now FREE to attend.

We’ll be hosting the event via our Twitch stream ( http://twitch.tv/ECMLive ) , and the Hutton Teamspeak server (address ts.forthemug.com) and starting at the usual time of 10am, until late.
We have a virtual Second Life meeting place where we’ve got badges and t-shirts for you. Second Life is free! Also, we’re heading in to Oculus Home to get together for shenanigans. Games are planned throughout the day, with a mixture of things to do, and stream shenanigans to watch.

Our Chosen Charities
As a non-profit group we donate any left over funds after events to our two chosen charities.
Special Effect is an organisation that seeks to help those who have challenges accessing gaming due to physical disabilities. They work with people to identify and use existing technologies and design new solutions that can help those individuals get the same pleasure as most of us do from the gaming world.
Hearing Dogs obtains, trains and homes Hearing Assistance dogs with those that would most benefit from a companion that can alert them to various aural queues that most of us take for granted. They Assist with audible alerts such as fire alarms, smoke alarms, mobile phone alerts etc. Not only do they assist with these alerts but they also provide real companionship as well.
